Join us at McGuane Park Playground. Meet at 9:30 AM. Ride at 10:00 AM. Rain or shine.The August ride is to 31st Street Beach and is about 3.5 miles one way. We encourage people to wear swimsuits. We will stay at the beach about an hour and organize a ride back to Bridgeport for anyone who wants to come.

FAQMy kids can't come/I don't have kids, can I still come?
Bridgeport Kidical Mass welcomes everyone. Please come! Adults without kids can help marshal or are free to just enjoy a slow, relaxed ride through Chicago.How can I help?
The best way to get involved is to come to a ride and introduce yourself to the organizers. We can never have too many marshals or corkers. Let us know what you want to do.Can my kid ride?
We encourage anyone who can ride without training wheels to ride on their own! We will accommodate any legs, no matter how small.How far/fast are your rides?
Rides are generally around 2 miles one way, with some being a little longer. Details about route length are published before each ride. Ride speed is determined by the particular group of riders but is typically around 5-6 mph. Bridgeport Kidical Mass is a no-drop ride. We will not leave you behind.Will Rides be cancelled for weather events?
Rides will be cancelled for thunder and lightning or for any other condition deemed unsafe by the organizers. We will notify the mailing list, update the website and announce on social media in the event the ride is cancelled. Some rides may be truncated/altered to accommodate light rain or other less comfortable weather.Do we have to buy tickets to go on the White Sox ride with Chicago Bike Sox?
